Tricresyl Phosphate

The offered Tricresyl Phosphate is a mixture of three isomeric organophosphate compounds most notably used as a fire retardant and in manufacturing for lacquers and varnishes as a plasticizer. It is a colorless, viscous liquid, although commercial samples are typically yellow. It is used in flexible PVC cellulose nitrate, ethylcellulose coatings, and various other rubber products. It is used as an anti wear additive in aircraft turbine engine oil. Concerns about its toxicity are largely based on the triocresyl phosphate isomer content. The offered Tricresyl Phosphate is very efficient and made for use in the commercial and industrial applications.
